I'm Jaden Arruda, a computer science major in the Class of 2027. I'm working toward a career as a software engineer, and Python is my favorite language to code in.
Outside of class, I play baseball at BSU as a pitcher. Between school and baseball, I like staying active, spending time outdoors, and finding time for the things I enjoy. My favorite hobbies are the gym, chilling with my boys, and doom scrolling.
You can usually find me at the gym, at the beach, or out playing a round of golf. When it's time to relax, I'm always up for a Marvel or DC movie or show.
Outside the classroom
Baseball is a big part of my life. I have been playing since I was 5 years old. I played football, basketball, and soccer growing up. I think this molding my love for the gym and wanted to win. I might be the most compitive person you will ever meet.
A day at the beach, a hike, or just taking long walks outside are a couple of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I enjoy taking a break from screens and spending time outdoors just relaxing.
I'm a fan of both Marvel and DC. When I'm winding down after class, practice, or a workout, I like watching their movies and shows. Spiderman and The Flash have to be my goat superheros.
Looking ahead
My goal is to become a software engineer. As I work toward graduation in 2027, I want to keep developing my programming skills and turn what I learn into software I can be proud of. I am hoping to keep studying at BU and get my masters in Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence.
